Mislaid Memories: February 2011

A perfect post for Valentine's Day, I must say.

What it is

I found a point and shoot digital camera in southern Illinois in the summer of 2009. It was about to storm and no one was around so I picked it up with the noble intention of finding the camera's owner and returning it. That never happened.

I'm lazy. I put a single post on Craigslist trying to find the owner, and that didn't turn up anything.

I'm lazy. It has taken me this long to create this blog.

I created the blog because I was impressed with the photography. Some photos are candid shots of everyday people doing everyday things only better. Others are just damn good.

I'd still like to find the owner, if nothing else to return the camera I still have, so by all means, if you recognize the people or locations or ... cats in any of the photos, write a comment. In the meantime, enjoy what you see?
